Mood-Performance-Tants (MPT) is a one-of-a-kind fashion show in Estonia that combines fashion (in Estonian: mood), performance and dance (in Estonian: tants)in a unique way. The show gives budding fashion designers the opportunity to showcase their exceptional designs on a platform that is as unusual as themselves. The designers’ works are presented to the audience in a truly eye-catching and playful performance. The show always encourages unique and unusual ideas in collections, performances, decorations, and locations.

Mood-Performance-Tants 2026 took place on June 11 at Tartu St. John’s Church (Jaani kirik, Tartu). The show featured seven designers selected through a competition this year, alongside five graduates from the Department of Textile and the Department of Leather Design of Pallas University of Applied Sciences, who presented their graduation collections on stage.

2026 show awards:

  • Estonian Fashion Festival’s main prize “Sustainable Designer 2026” Mood-Performance-Tants nominee – Rasmus Linde. The winner was announced at the Antonius fashion show on June 12 from the nominees selected at the festival’s three shows – OmaMood, Mood-Performance-Tants and Antoniuse fashion show. Mood-Performance-Tants nominee Rasmus Linde won the main prize.

Mood-Performance-Tants, the longest-running fashion show in Tartu organised by Pallas University of Applied Sciences, will be held for the 28th time this year. The show is also linked to the thesis defence at the university. It will present the graduate collections of the school’s design students and will be attended by the thesis evaluation committee. The graduates get the opportunity to showcase their work in a professionally staged fashion show. Mood-Performance-Tants is one of the fashion shows featured at the Estonian Fashion Festival.

Estonian Fashion Festival (EFF) is a major annual sustainable fashion event in Estonia, centered around three unique fashion shows – Mood-Performance-Tants, Antonius Fashion Show and OmaMood. EFF represents Estonian designers at the festival who have incorporated sustainable practices into their activities. Estonian Fashion Festival is held in collaboration with Pallas Art School, Viljandi Academy of Culture of the University of Tartu and Tartu Creative Economy Centre.
