The CIRRUS Product Design Teachers Meeting took place on 15–17 April 2026 at Pallas University of Applied Sciences in Tartu, bringing together teachers and programme leaders from Sweden, Norway, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.
The aim of the meeting was to share teaching experiences, discuss challenges in design education, and explore opportunities for collaboration within the international network.
Over the course of the three-day meeting, participants exchanged experiences and teaching practices, highlighting both shared challenges and diverse approaches to product design education. Alongside the discussions, participants also had the opportunity to experience Tartu – the programme began with a poster-printing workshop at TYPA, a printing and paper arts centre, and concluded with a visit to the Estonian National Museum.

In addition, participants discussed ways to strengthen collaboration, including potential themes for joint workshops, the idea of organising a shared summer school, and involving teaching staff exchanges also in thesis evaluation committees.
