ENTRANCE EXAMS 2024

Entrance exams at Pallas in 2024 are web-based.

May 31 – June 26 2024, 11.59 PM submission of Electronic Applications at SAIS. If you do not have an Estonian state-issued ID-card, then contact oppeosakond@pallasart.ee.

Applicants for the Media and Advertisement Design curriculum and Painting curriculum are required to submit a portfolio on SAIS before speciality exam.

The list of items necessary for exams can be found on SAIS next to the respective exam description. In addition, mobile phone or computer equipped with webcamera, microphone and internet connection is required.

Exams (speciality and motivation exams) will take place June 27 – July 1, 2024.

Motivation exam – The names of the applicants who are accepted to the motivation exam will be announced via the Admission Information System SAIS June 29 at 4 PM, 2024.

The Admissions Committee will make an admission decision, which will be announced via the Admission Information System SAIS on July 4, 2024 the latest.

Admitted students are required to confirm their intention to study by 19.07.2024 at the latest in SAIS.

The minimum requirements for the level of language of instruction of Pallas University of Applied Sciences

To begin studies at Pallas UAS, a student is required:
– Estonian language proficiency of at least level B1 as defined in CEFR, or
– In-depth study of Estonian as the official language in the first academic year in the capacity of 60 ECTS credits and completion of the test on B1 level.

The supporting documents required from student candidates who completed their secondary education outside of Estonia

1 Those who completed their secondary education outside of Estonia are required to submit the Estonian, English or Russian translations of the educational documents that are notarized (by a notary or sworn translator) and certified by a translation agency or the issuer of the document.

2 The original or a notarized or an officially certified copy of the document certifying secondary education of the student candidate who completed their secondary education outside Estonia must be confirmed by the certificate (apostil) of the issuing country or legalized .
2.1 The educational documents issued in the Russian Federation, Lithuania, Latvia, Ukraine, and Poland do not need a certification (with an apostil) or legalization.

3 The student candidate who acquired their secondary education outside the European Union must submit the assessment decision of the Academic Recognition Information Centre (the Estonian ENIC / NARIC)  of the compliance of the educational documents of the foreign country with the documents valid in the Estonian education system.

4 All the documents have to be submitted to the Admission Committee before the beginning of speciality subject exams
